Matano goes to the hospital and Dr Charles tells him Karis is too weak for visitors. He also asks to talk to the doctor about Margaret's child. Margaret also comes to Mercy to talk about the pregnancy.  
Mercy explains there's only a 15% chance of passing on her HIV if she keeps taking her ARVs. A normal delivery is safe but a Caesarean is safer. Breastfeeding is not completely safe, but it's important to mix formula milk with clean drinking water. It's a lot of information for Margaret and Matano to take in, and Matano agrees to stop worrying about what other people think. Margaret is still worried that Matano will leave her if she doesn't have a son. Pregnancy and HIV
